Happy Labor Day

A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depend on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving. – Albert Einstein

Dear North Texas Alumni Association Family and friends,

Labor Day in United States is celebrated annually on the first Monday of September. This federal holiday marks appreciating the workers in America. It is all about honoring the contributions made by workers towards national strength, well-being, and prosperity. We as military members, both former and active, understand what that hard work is all about.

As you celebrate with family and friends, please take time to remember those who are in harm's way and whose sacrifices everyday give us the opportunity to celebrate this long weekend.

Please say a special prayer for those Classmates, Alumni, family, and friends that may be impacted by Hurricane Dorian, that is expected to make landfall this weekend in the Florida area.

On behalf of all of us, enjoy your weekend and please be safe as you travel.

Take care, God Bless, and Semper Fi,

Junior, Clif, Carrie, Kevin, and Ben
